Showing doubts during interviews

If one shows doubts during an interview, it is hard for him or her to get a job. It is always advisable to show confidence in any answer given at an interview. Whether the answer is right or wrong it should be given with confidence. Hiring mangers search for confident individuals at interviews not those who are uncertain about what they can do.

Failure to research about the company

This is also leads to failure to take up the job. Job seekers take time to research about many issues in their profession as they prepare for an interview; unfortunately they forget to make research about that particular organisation where they are seeking the job. Nowadays almost all big organisations have websites; before you go for an interview visit that organisation’s website, find out what they do, when it started and any relevant information. Employers will be more interested in someone who has knowledge about their company than one who is naive about it.

Lack of clarity during interviews

If you are unclear about the information you give about yourself in the course of the interview, there are less chances that you can get the job. Your work history should rhythm with the one given in your application letter as well one in the Curriculum Vitae. Information about your academic background should also be clear. Any unclear information may give an indication that you are either lying or not sure about it.
