Why Religion today is the best bussiness
67The change of gospel
Long time ago, the world had men who worshipped God with their hearts and spirit. Men who were willing to die and suffer for God, History records that’s after the death of Jesus , millions of Christians where killed, detained and made to suffer by pagan rulers, what used to matter was the faith in Jesus and his second coming.
Then came the peril times religion, the gospel immediately changed from the cross to posh cars and from Jesus and his coming to un known tongues, miracles, power and anointing. Before these times, miracles existed though they were not part of the gospel, but now, they became a word not to be left out in a sermon. In a sense, the love of miracles, prosperity and riches slowly became greater than the love for heaven.
It is too absurd that the gospel has clearly left the way of the cross to the way of dominion, now the gospel is about preventing curses, fighting the evil spirits and demons, Pastors spend long hours telling followers how they are having curses from their clans and evil people, they present themselves as the solution to the end of curses.
Many Pastors are using psychology to deceive people into obsessions with fighting demons, fighting witchcraft and sorcery, and breaking curses. It is true those thing exist but they can not be a problem to a person who is hidden in Christ. The disciples never spent their lives preaching about fighting of demons but rather put the lessons about salvation at the fore front. Demons and evil spirits have nothing to do with people in Christ; this there means that all Pentecostals who encounter evil spirits in worship (while the pastor prays) are not yet hidden in Christ or either the spirit present is not from God.
Then the emergency of power seekers, people became seekers not of the truth but of the spirit and little by little forgetting about the cross. Needless to say, seeking the spirit is in its self unbiblical and for this reason; Satan has played a major role in making his spirit available to such men and women. This satanic spirit is being used to perform miracles in many churches where it is being sought (Revelation 16:10).
The spirit of worldliness
This religion of the peril times brought major changes in people’s hearts, for the first time in the history of Christianity, believers were told to seek first the things of this world and heaven will follow. This is because the new gospel centers on prosperity and happiness here and now and with little being mentioned about heaven and the second coming. In the sense, seeking happiness on earth before heaven has become a major crowd pulling gospel. But the Bible says "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." (1 Jn 2:15).
We are living in the times where religion is fostering and encouraging the spirit of worldliness in the church and in the individual believer. Instead of striving for true holiness and Godliness in speech, dress, hair, music, entertainment, etc., the Charismatic Movement prides itself in using worldly means to entertain their own and attract the lost. Stress is on man-centered happiness versus God-centered holiness (Hedonism). They strive for heaven-on-earth now. This is evident in their teaching regarding money and possessions.
Going against the parable of the poor widow
In some churches, worshippers give their offertory in grades, those who give large sums of money make their own line and normally come first, special prayers are then offered to them from the excited pastors. The process continues until those who give the smallest paper denominations are called upon, these however may not receive any prayer from the pastor since they are viewed as people with little faith. It is no longer surprising that coin money is not acceptable in many churches, they say, it symbolizes lack of love for God. This is however in direct contrast to the gospel of Jesus and the parable of the widow who gave her only button (Luke 12:41-44) The practice leaves these pastors no more than the Pharisees who were excited to see the rich men give out bounties of money while neglecting the poor widow (and others) who gave the little they had but from the bottom of their hearts.
Booming church business
In these times, pastors set up churches not as a service but as a great investment. This explains why many pastors are now millionaire or multi millionaires. They have accumulated for them selves amazing wealth where as their followers remain in un changed conditions or degenerate into poverty. It is now common to find pastors enlarging their business empires by adding on the number of churches they own strategically placing their new churches in populated areas for quick cash back.
In this case, they are no longer pastors but chief executive officers of their booming investments. If any one has any doubt in this, I am willing to show him the posh cars, bungalows and amazing investments of many Pentecostal pastors.
This reminds me of a popular Bible verse “when judgment day comes, many will say to me, Lord! Lord, in your name we spoke God’s message, by your name we drove out demons and performed many miracles, Then I will say to them, I never knew you, get away you wicked people” Matthew 7:22-23.
It is amazing to note that the people mentioned in the verses are the so called “great men of God”, they perform miracles, preach a lot and even drive out demons, however the Lord calls them wicked, it is clear that wicked people are satanic and even though these people perform wonders and preach so well in churches about Jesus, their real masters is Satan. All those who financially exploit their followers, perform fake miracles, and preach the gospel of worldliness can not be left out.
Singing till hell
Singing is slowly becoming an increasing sin in many churches; their songs have drifted from the Christian road to become one with worldly and satanic music. When you see a Christian dance groups, you may think they were trained by a professional break dancer or disco dancer, there is absolutely no difference between the two, and some one would wonder whether Paul, Peter or James would reach such an extent. In some instances, this music is worse than in a club.
Instead of music being used to worship and glorify God, it is used as a means of "connecting" or "feeling" the Presence of God. If the "location" (or a feeling within) of God is not aroused and sensed, the Spirit is said to be either absent or bound. To counter this passive situation, worship is intensified, the devil is "bound" and certain forms of excitement are encouraged until "God's presence" is "felt".
Many times music is used as the conduit for the "feeling", Instead of the musical instruments accompanying the songs, the songs in the churches today are the ones which accompany the musical instruments. High sounding speakers are used to kill reason which makes the people to do embarrassing acts while “dancing for the Lord”. Though the Pentecostals use the example of King David, they forget that David was not in a worship place.
Following the words of Satan
People have become acquainted with testimonies from supposedly ex Satanists who were supposedly caught while on the mission of killing the one who later exposed and delivered them from satanic power, the believers then get frightened and draw conclusions that since such person could come to their church, then they must be right, little do they know that Satan is so clever to organize such men and women.).
Satan’s words are highly regard though in many cases these are written by people with genius minds. I have seen letters purporting to come from the devil enroute to supposed Satanists. Consequently, those Christians who get hold of this correspondence would feel very privileged and would share the contents with great zeal as well as encourage Christians to do the very things the devil supposedly commanded his followers to discourage.
The God People Use
From my childhood I have been taught of the God who uses man, The God who used Moses, David, and Daniel. I used to like the stories of “Father Abraham” and how God used him. But the people of today seem to they have a different God, they have a God they command, a God who must be obey what they want. It is very common to find people commanding God as if He is an object or a servant. They order Him to heal and make them prosperous and they use him as means for their gain. That God is different from mine, My God uses me, I don’t use Him.
Remember "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." (1 Jn 2:15)

I agree with you completely!
I think Man throughout the ages has distorted the truth in THE God.
Man likes to and is prone to creating a god that suits their lifestyle.
A god that makes them more comfortable with themselves.
A "Burger King" have Him your way kind of god.
But God is who He is, always and forever.
I have in my personal walk with God a RELATIONSHIP with Him not being bound by the restraints of a tainted religion.
But I will disagree with you on just one point you made.
We are not hidden in Christ. Rather we are lights in the world through Him.
Because of this Jesus said, "I send you out as sheep amidst the wolves." He also very clearly pointed out in Ephesians 6:11-12 "Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places ."
God goes on further to explain what the armor is:
“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
I fail to see any scripture which tells us to "hide in Christ" Or that we are hidden in Him.
The world as does Satan and yes, demons see us very clearly. We stand out to them the most in fact because of our faith in God. We shine like the sun to the them. Because of this, we get "attacked" from time to time. Sometimes spiritually, sometimes physically. All of this in an effort by them to cause us to sin and or disbelieve in God, to lose our faith in Christ.
So God being in the all know about this, gave us the instruction in Ephesians.
God that i know exists in me. Belonging to a religion is like belonging to a husband always checking, and approving. I believe in the god within me called my soul. Making the right choice in life means a lot to me. Love all my people.
Very well done & I agree with you!!!! thanks, I'm a new follower...

Interesting Hub but I am surprised to see you don't stand by what you believe. I recall one of your comments in Forums stated there is no Rapture. Just curious. Thanks for sharing.
