Avoiding pregnancy is many people the best option for people who are not yet ready to give birth. It is the best way of avoiding unwanted children or even avoiding the risk of abortion. I am one of the person who do not believe in abortion and that’s why I would like to advice people who are not ready for kids to rather avoid pregnancy. Some people may just decide to have family planning and thus the need of avoiding pregnancies.

There are many ways a woman can avoid pregnancy, however, all may not work well with all women which is why a woman or a girl should choose out of the many one which is good for her. Women and girls should however know that not all the methods of avoiding pregnancy are so safe, one therefore needs to take extra care before choosing the best method of avoiding pregnancy. I have presented a few but major ways of how a woman can avoid getting pregnant.

Calendar days

Women have different menstrual cycles and thus different high fertility days, a woman will have very high chances of getting pregnant if they have sex a few days to menstrual periods or a few a says after menstrual periods. Some doctors suggest that day’s range between 3 to six days though that differs greatly de[ending on the woman. A woman can avoid getting pregnant by avoid having live sex within that time frame.

Injections

There are now so many inject plans or injections which women can receive to stop them from conceiving for some time, the longevity of the time will depend on the type of injection, some injections will stop pregnancies for 3 months where as others can even be for a year . You can get such injections from any family planning clinic near you.

Pills

A woman can also avoid pregnancy by taking certain pills for that cause, there are many types of family planning pills or pregnancy prevention pills which a person can take to avoid pregnancy. The down side of such pills is that many times, a woman needs to take them every day for them to be effective. There are also pills which most people will refer to as good morning pills, these can be taken immediately after sex to prevent fertilization and thus avoiding pregnancies

Condoms

Many people have rated condoms to be 99% safe, you have to note that they are not 100% safe for protecting you from pregnancies and STDS but 99% is fairly good. If used correctly condoms can give very good protection from pregnancies.

Abstinence

No method of pregnancy avoidance can beat this one, it is the safest way to avoid pregnancies and STDS but for sure, it is the hardest one. If you can abstain from sex, then you will not be worried of any pregnancy because unlike some other STDS, it will be so hard to get pregnant tin any way rather than sex. Abstinence simply means staying without sex, wow, hard but better.
